Literally
There's a segment on NPR that features people's English pet peeves. In a memorable episode a couple years back, one contributor offered up people's improper use of "literally" to mean figuratively or metaphorically.
This article on Google's new site creation product showed up in my feeds the other day. And I quote:
"We are literally adding an edit button to the Web," Girouard said.
Really? Literally?
